Located in Washington, D.C.’s Bloomingdale neighborhood, this 2,250 sq ft historic rowhome, originally built in 1900, underwent a transformative kitchen renovation.

While the home had been fully restored following a major fire in the early 2000s, the kitchen layout remained underutilized. Despite generous square footage by D.C. rowhouse standards, the space lacked flow, storage, and modern amenities.

The homeowner sought a more modern aesthetic, an island with seating for four, and a spacious wet bar for entertaining.  The new two-tone kitchen has a generous island with a waterfall edge, a wall of floor-to-ceiling pantry and appliance storage, built-in Miele appliances, and a statement-making wet bar flanked with furniture-style hutch cabinets.
