Alair Homes is proud to celebrate two remarkable members of Team Alair, who were recognized in Pro Builder’s highly anticipated 2025 Young Guns & Legends list. The list is a spotlight on innovators, visionaries, and long-standing leaders shaping the future of residential construction.
This year’s class features standout professionals from across North America whose contributions span design innovation, client experience, workforce development, community impact, and the craft of home building itself. Among these exceptional honorees are two individuals who embody the spirit of Alair’s mission to help people live better: Albert Donadio, owner and partner at Alair Orillia, and Brad McIntyre, the production manager at Alair Sanibel.
The awards build on Pro Builder’s previous 40 Under 40 awards. The 2025 Young Guns & Legends recognize both rising stars and career legends of all ages in the new-home sector of the housing industry.
Honoring a Career of Craftsmanship and Community: Albert Donadio
With more than 50 years of experience, Albert Donadio of Alair Orillia has built an extraordinary legacy, grounded in craftsmanship, mentorship, and a sincere commitment to community.
The nomination from Pro Builder highlights Albert’s decades of leadership in custom homes, large-scale public projects, and award-winning design and construction. His contributions have shaped everything from the Toronto Zoo and the Canadian National Exhibition to transformative outdoor spaces and high-end custom residences.
But Albert’s influence extends far beyond construction. Through his interior design business, he donated up to $80,000 in design drawings to support Barrie’s “A New Home for Youth Haven,” a new youth shelter. His team at Alair Orillia contributed more than 100 volunteer hours to the project, exemplifying Alair’s belief in building stronger communities through service.
Within Alair, Albert is a trusted mentor known for generously sharing his deep knowledge of building science and client care. His leadership supports a culture of collaboration that strengthens both his team as well as the broader Alair network.
A Rising Leader in a Time of Crisis: Brad McIntyre
Brad McIntyre, the production manager at Alair Sanibel, first came to Alair as a homeowner. As a former client, Brad has a unique lens into the homeowner experience, giving him an empathetic style of leadership.
He then joined Alair Sanibel in September 2022 as a project coordinator — just weeks before Hurricane Ian devastated Southwest Florida. When the devastation left his team shorthanded, Brad stepped up to manage six beachfront custom home rebuilds, guiding homeowners through uncertainty with clarity, patience, and care.
Pro Builder notes that Brad not only kept projects moving during unprecedented challenges, but also set a new standard for what leadership looks like under pressure.
Today, he continues to grow within Alair with a long-term goal of becoming a partner, investing equally in his team’s development and in elevating the client experience.
A Moment of Pride for the Alair Network
Being recognized among Pro Builder’s Young Guns & Legends is a meaningful industry milestone that celebrates leaders who raise the bar for innovation, excellence, and community impact. For Alair, having two honorees in this year’s class reflects the strength and depth of leadership across our locations.
Albert and Brad represent the best of what custom home building can be: thoughtful, human-centered, resilient, and rooted in a genuine desire to serve.
We extend our congratulations to Albert, Brad, and all the outstanding professionals recognized this year.
