On July 28, 2025, Alair Homes proudly announced Stacy Eakman as the new regional partner for the state of California. Alair Homes, North America’s largest privately held custom home building and renovation company is very proud of its leaders. Our mission is to help people live better by building award-winning homes and businesses and our staff is the main reason we succeed.
Being part of the Alair team means embracing both great responsibility and an unwavering commitment to accountability. We hold ourselves to the highest standards—supporting one another with the same integrity and dedication that we extend to our clients, trades, and market partners.
Stacy Eakman, a seasoned industry leader with over 15 years of construction experience along the West Coast, joined Alair as the Kirkland partner in 2023. Now, he’s expanding his leadership south to California—marking yet another exciting milestone in his Alair journey.
A Call at KBIS: The Beginning of a New Chapter
Sometimes, the most pivotal moments happen when you least expect them. For Stacy Eakman, that moment came during his first day at KBIS in Las Vegas in February 2025. Between meetings with brand partners and exploring the show floor, Stacy received a message from two members of Alair’s Senior Leadership Team—including the CEO—asking if he could hop on a call that same morning.
“I said, sure, I can make that work,” Stacy recalls. “They told me the Encinitas office needed fresh vision and leadership and asked if I’d consider what a Regional Partner in California could look like moving forward.”
Traditionally, the Regional Partner role was closely tied to the location of a pilot office—not something done remotely. But for Stacy, the opportunity was clear. “I told them, I want it. Let’s do it. I want California.”
Expanding South: Leading Through Recovery
As Stacy stepped into his new role as Regional Partner for Southern California, his leadership quickly turned toward one of the region’s greatest challenges — rebuilding communities devastated by the recent wildfires.
The Pacific Palisades real estate market was deeply affected by the January 2025 wildfires, leaving thousands of homes destroyed and countless families displaced. Yet, as the year draws to a close, the community is beginning to show remarkable signs of recovery and resilience.
The Palisades Rebuild Initiative
Stacy became actively involved in the Palisades Rebuild Initiative—an ambitious effort to revive a community where more than 6,000 homes were lost. As part of this initiative, a team of 40 architects collaborated to create Case Study 2.0, a curated catalog of 55 pre-approved home designs intended to streamline permitting and accelerate reconstruction.
But the task ahead remains immense. “You drive through and it looks like something out of a war zone,” Stacy explains. “Whole neighborhoods are gone — just foundations, water heaters, and soot. The heat must’ve been unimaginable.”
From supply-chain shortages to the absence of basic infrastructure, every step presents new challenges. “Even simple logistics are difficult,” Stacy notes. “Where do you park trucks, pump concrete, or store materials when every block is an active rebuild site?”
Beyond logistics, there’s a profound human element. Many longtime residents — families who have lived there for decades — are working to rebuild within the limits of their insurance coverage. “People assume everyone in California is wealthy,” Stacy says, “but these are real families who worked hard, raised their kids here, and now have to start over.”
Together with Alair’s leadership and local partners, Stacy is focused on rebuilding affordably and responsibly, preserving the identity of the Palisades while preventing large developers from reshaping its character. “We’re doing everything we can to support the right kind of rebuilding — one that honors the community, not just the market,” he emphasizes.
While challenges persist — from restoring power to coordinating city resources — Stacy’s approach remains grounded, strategic, and deeply human. His journey to regional partnership isn’t just about expanding Alair’s presence; it’s about helping entire communities rise again.
