At Alair Homes Springfield, giving back is at the heart of what we do. Through our Alair Cares Initiative, our team dedicates time and expertise to help strengthen our community—because building better lives is just as important as building better homes.
Recently, we had the privilege of partnering with Finding the Family, a local organization that provides critical support to families working to overcome addition. The original home on the property was in need of repair so that the new Director of Counseling would have a safe place to live with her family.
Rolling Up Our Sleeves to Make a Difference
Our crew got to work, taking on several key projects to restore and refresh the home:
Demo and rebuild the back deck: We completely removed the old, unsafe deck and built a brand-new one, complete with sturdy new stairs for safe and easy access to the yard.
Replace damaged siding: The home’s exterior received a much-needed update. We carefully removed the old siding and installed new, durable materials to protect the home from the elements while improving curb appeal.
Repair structural issues: Our team removed and replaced rotted beams, ensuring the home’s integrity and long-term safety.
Update the kitchen: Inside, we removed the old countertops and plumbing, then installed a beautiful new granite countertop, sink, and modern plumbing fixtures—bringing both function and style to the heart of the home.

This project was about more than just tools and materials. It was about teamwork, compassion, and the power of community. Every member of our team contributed their time, energy, and craftsmanship to make sure this family had a safe, comfortable place to call home.
The smiles and gratitude we received reminded us that even small acts of service can make a big difference.
