This 7,600+ square foot renovation in a gated golf community in Leesburg, Virginia, reimagined a traditional builder-grade home into a luxurious retreat designed for both comfortable living and exceptional entertaining. The transformation balances modern sophistication with rustic warmth, creating a cohesive aesthetic that flows seamlessly throughout the home.

At the heart of the design, the kitchen serves as a statement space with a dramatic waterfall island accented by a reclaimed walnut bar ledge, ideal for casual gatherings or hosting large parties. Expansive living areas were opened and refined, introducing custom cabinetry, ceiling-height storage, and multifunctional layouts tailored to the family’s lifestyle.

The basement was completely redefined as an entertainment hub, featuring a professional-grade Full Swing golf simulator, lounge seating, and a custom bar accented with metal cladding, reclaimed wood, and brick details.
Upstairs, private spaces offer equal attention to detail, with a spa-inspired master bath showcasing a dual-head marble shower and soaking tub, and a boutique-style walk-in closet complete with a marble island and dramatic lighting.

From mudroom to primary suite, every corner of the home was elevated through thoughtful design and craftsmanship. The result is a home that is as inviting as it is impressive, seamlessly blending comfort, function, and luxury.

“Every project has its complexities, but this renovation was an opportunity to turn challenges into defining features. Excavating the basement to create the ceiling height for a professional golf simulator, for instance, demanded creative engineering and precise coordination but it’s now one of the home’s most memorable spaces. This home truly reflects both homeowners’ personalities; perfectly tailored to the way this family lives and entertains.”
