Originally built in 1963, this 3,045-square-foot home offered generous space but no longer reflected the way our client’s lived day to day. Their goal was to create a home that felt both highly functional and uniquely personal, with thoughtful solutions tailored to their lifestyle and a design aesthetic that celebrated color, pattern, and character. What began as a full-home renovation quickly evolved into an opportunity to reimagine how each space could better serve the family while bringing a fresh sense of energy throughout the home.
One of the most impactful transformations took place within the primary suite. An existing bedroom adjacent to the primary was reconfigured to create an expansive custom closet and a dedicated laundry room, connected by a convenient pass-through that allows laundry to move seamlessly from closet to wash. Designed with the homeowners’ everyday routines in mind, the laundry room also includes a custom dog wash station for their two dogs, blending practicality with thoughtful design details.
Behind the walls, the home was comprehensively modernized with a new HVAC system, updated plumbing, and upgraded electrical throughout. New custom cabinetry was installed across the entire home, paired with updated appliances and tailored storage solutions that enhance both function and aesthetics. The homeowners embraced a fearless approach to design, incorporating playful wallpaper, bold tile selections, and layered finishes that give each room its own personality while maintaining a cohesive feel throughout the home.
The result is a home that feels completely transformed and modernized where it matters most, yet full of warmth, character, and individuality. Every design decision was made to support the way the family lives today, creating spaces that are as beautiful as they are functional.
