French restraint, Alberta views.

Set on a quiet acreage in Springbank, this home was designed in collaboration with Scala Designs to capture both presence and restraint.

Framed by uninterrupted mountain views, the home sits intentionally on its site — elevated to create a full walkout condition while preserving a seamless connection to the surrounding landscape. The result is a lower level that feels anything but secondary, with nine-foot ceilings and direct access to a private, treed backdrop.

Architecturally, the home leans into a refined French influence — steep rooflines, balanced proportions, and timeless detailing — all interpreted through a minimalist lens. White acrylic stucco is paired with subtle massing shifts at the base, creating depth and shadow without overstatement. Lantern-style lighting and carefully scaled windows reinforce a sense of quiet elegance.

Thoughtfully designed, meticulously managed, and built with intention, this Springbank residence is a study in proportion, light, and enduring simplicity.
