In case you missed it: Brandon Bryant of Alair Asheville | Red Tree was featured on this week’s episode of Build Show LIVE, hosted by Matt Risinger.
The Build Show is one of the most influential platforms in the construction and building science space, and this episode highlighted Bryant’s forward-thinking approach to climate-resilient, wellness-focused homebuilding in Western North Carolina.
Two of the team’s remarkable projects were featured:
- Mountainside Home (in progress): This home demonstrates Red Tree’s “non-negotiables” for building efficiently on challenging terrain, with advanced framing, innovative foundation strategies for steep slopes, and a strong focus on indoor air quality.
- Olivette Farm-to-Table Community Home: A fully electric, net-positive, DOE Net Zero Energy Ready home. Built in harmony with its environment, this home stood resilient in the face of Hurricane Helene, thanks to thoughtful site planning, water management, and close collaboration with architects and landscape designers.
