Meet The Team

As a partner at Alair, Mike Seay brings a wealth of experience and keen eye for detail to the Tri Counties area in California. He began his construction career honing his expertise in marble, granite, and tile as an apprentice to a stone fabricator. Mike has earned an AA from Ventura College, a BS and MBA from Pepperdine, and a Doctor of Business Administration from Grenoble École de Management in France.

Mike then transitioned to the medical device industry, working with giants like Medtronic, Tyco Healthcare, and Baxter. He co-founded CranioMed, Inc., where he served as CEO and secured a patent for a proprietary screw design.

Mike’s passion for construction led to the formation of AAA Development, Inc. in 2007 alongside Mike Hansen. A licensed Class B General Contractor, he also teaches part-time at Cal State University Channel Islands. Outside of work, Mike enjoys traveling, snowboarding, surfing, tennis, and cooking. He has a lovely wife, Jaimee, four children, and a growing family.

Mike Hansen brings over 35 years of experience in the construction industry to Alair Tri Counties. His journey began as an apprentice with Williams Plastering, where he built a diverse skill set working with companies like Thompson Plumbing and Milgard Windows.

After serving a church mission in Texas from 1992-94, Mike pursued a business management degree at Moorpark College. During this period, he balanced a career at Richard Evans Construction, where he supervised retrofitting projects for new earthquake standards. In 1995, he joined Next Step Development and earned his Class B General Contractors License in 2004 (#837024).

Mike's expertise spans from small residential projects to large-scale commercial developments. His comprehensive knowledge of construction management, from the initial meeting with homeowners to managing trade partners, makes him an invaluable part of the Alair Tri Counties team.
