Meet The Team

Simon started his career as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, a cost manager and contractual advisor of construction projects, in the UK. As a Partner of the International Construction and Cost Consultancy Gleeds, Simon managed teams on multi-million to billion dollar developments all over the UK. Simon and his family moved to the Cayman Islands and was heavily involved in rebuilding the devastated islands after Hurricane Ivan - both in the residential and commercial sectors.

They moved to Vancouver, BC, Canada where he specialized in passive housing, modular housing and commercial projects throughout the Province. Having travelled to and invested in property for the last ten years in Tampa, Simon chose to return here and put down roots in beautiful Tampa Bay.

Alair South Tampa is staffed by a dedicated team of Projects Managers, Project Assistants, Carpenters and an Administrative team. The company’s professionals offer years of experience and a personalized approach to each project, ensuring clients are taken care of by people who understand the process of building a one-of-a-kind custom home.

Charlyne started with Alair Homes in early 2021 as a Project Assistant. She enjoys helping implement the client's vision and assisting in the day-to-day duties. She graduated from the University of Tampa with a Business Management and Marketing degree and considers herself a valuable team player.

Charlyne has always had a passion for arts, from dancing to photography, and she thrives at any chance to be creative. She and her husband Ryan, have daughters that keep their hands full and their hearts fuller.

Chace has grown up in construction in Minnesota. He has done hands on work on construction sites from start to finish of a project. He takes great pride in his work and loves problem solving.

In his spare time Chace is an adrenaline seeker - from downhill long boarding to BMX bikes and everything in between. When he finds extra time he is often found working on cars and loving on his dog, Ed.

Kaibo was born in Hawaii, was moved to California and then to Seattle, before she adopted the Amesbury family during their son’s hockey tournament weekend. She lived her early years in Vancouver, BC and has since adapted to and loves the Florida sunshine and lifestyle. Kaibo is our Director of First Impressions, Chief Therapy Dog and all round smiler and greeter to everyone who visits… she is a particular favorite with our client’s children during planning meetings.
