With more than 40 years of experience under his hard hat, Jim has built a reputation for his unparalleled attention to detail and cultivating strong, long-lasting relationships with his clients.

Throughout his illustrious career, Jim has been at the forefront of numerous groundbreaking projects, demonstrating a commitment to quality and precision. His expertise has earned him the trust and admiration of both clients and colleagues, making him a valued leader and mentor in the field.

John Altman has been with Alair since 2017, but his love for building goes way back—He started in construction at 16. Over the years, John went from drywall contracting to senior project management.

It all began in 2006 when he met Jim Krantz while working on a show house, and that connection led to a lasting professional relationship. What he loves the most about his work is the transparency, open communication, and trust within the team, allowing him to create one-of-a-kind homes.

Nicholas Hidalgo, a proud father of two beautiful children, a boy and a girl, is a native of Orlando, Florida, and brings a wealth of experience and dedication to Alair Homes Orlando. With 14 years of honorable service in the Navy Special Operations community, Nicholas developed a strong foundation in leadership, discipline, and teamwork. After transitioning from the military, he pursued his passion for real estate and residential construction, finding a perfect alignment of values and camaraderie at Alair Homes.

Joining Alair Homes Orlando over four years ago, Nicholas quickly mastered the Alair process and excelled in the construction industry. His process-oriented mindset, structured approach, and leadership skills, honed during his military service, propelled him to the role of Senior Project Manager within just three years. Remarkably, he also earned his certification as a licensed building contractor in the same timeframe, showcasing his relentless drive for learning and professional growth.

Nicholas’s commitment to excellence is evident in the quality of his work and the lasting relationships he builds with trade partners and clients, earning him numerous testimonials. Beyond his professional achievements, he maintains a passion for physical fitness, regularly engaging in exercise and outdoor activities.

Kat joined Alair in September 2024, bringing over 35 years of experience in administrative support. She’s always loved keeping things organized and making sure everything runs smoothly.

Over the years, Kat has worked in hospitality, healthcare, and construction, learning the ins and outs of operations, executive support, and project management. A friend recommended her for this role, and now, as Office Manager, she gets to support finance, project managers, and day-to-day operations. Kat loves the fast-paced, problem-solving nature of the construction world and making sure her team has everything they need to succeed.
