Chris looks at building a client’s dream home as an honor and a privilege and invests 100% of himself into making the journey and the end product absolutely spectacular. A love for building, that well may have started with Legos™, has turned into a lifetime of creating incredible structures that have been built with passion, integrity, and skill. He is a Texas A&M graduate, and has eighteen years in the custom home building and renovation industry, having owned Bolio Custom Homes before joining the Alair family in 2017. He is married to Michelle, with two little boys and a dog named Cooper.

Chris is a past President of the Custom Builder Council, Secretary of the Greater Houston Builders Association and Director at the Texas Association of Builders and in his spare time, he loves racing, fitness, rebuilding cars, and cooking. Having moved to Houston when he was four, he has spent his life admiring the fiercely independent, fiercely loyal, and extremely friendly people that call Houston home.

Nick Spector's dedication to home building is as strong as his commitment to family. Since 2002, he's been weaving dreams into reality, one brick at a time. A graduate of Texas A&M School of Engineering, Nick's journey through the Oil and Gas Industry and extensive construction background laid the groundwork for his success.

Driven by a passion for creating lasting friendships, Nick approaches every project with an open heart and attentive ears. He believes in asking the right questions to understand his clients' visions fully. This approach has earned him not only the trust of his clients but also the prestigious Texas Association of Builders Star Award for excellence in project management.

An active member of the Greater Houston Builders Association, Nick currently serves on the Remodelers Council Executive Board, where his expertise and enthusiasm for the craft shine through. Outside of work, Nick cherishes time with his family – his wife, Erika, their two wonderful children, and their beloved dog, Penny.

Beyond the construction site, Nick finds fulfillment in giving back to his community. Whether volunteering at his church, supporting the local Boy Scouts, or cheering on Houston and Texas Aggie sports teams, Nick's zest for life and love for his craft are evident in everything he does.

Carol Lamadrid brings over 28 years of experience in working with clients and sales development. Her passion for design and building began in New York when she worked at House Beautiful and Traditional Home magazine. Later she moved to Houston, where she worked at Luxe Interiors +Design magazine. As a Regional Director for Luxe, she learned a lot from home builders. But when she met Chris Bolio and the team, she knew it was something special. Excited by the passion and drive Alair Homes exhibited for the client experience, Carol knew it was a team she wanted to be on. Carol has now been in Houston for 8 years after living in many places from Europe to the states. She is an alumna of Santa Clara University with a BA in Communications and MA from UCLA.

If you ask Carol what she loves, she loves to share her energy and enthusiasm for life in general. Although, she holds a special place in her heart for: kids, dogs, dolphins, and dance. Carol is also a dance teacher, and is certified in yoga, Pilates, Zumba, and holds an ACE certification in Group Exercise. She and her husband are parents to their one son and their English Springer Spaniel.

Drew embarked on his journey with the Alair team in 2022, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his years in the Houston area custom home building industry. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences, Drew infuses every home he builds with innovation and creativity, earning accolades including features in the Houston Chronicle, Houston home tours, and multiple local building awards.

Prior to his venture into custom home building, Drew spent nearly 15 years immersed in the world of home automation and audio/video technology. Though he cherished the technological advancements within the industry, Drew yearned to offer clients more than just audio/video solutions – a sentiment that ultimately led him to pursue his passion for crafting dream homes.

Outside of work, Drew's heart remains in Atlanta, GA, where he was raised. However, he now calls Houston home, alongside his wonderful wife, Krystal, and their three children – a son and a set of twins. Drew finds immense joy in participating in his children's activities and volunteering within his community. Additionally, he relishes opportunities to work on home projects with friends, always eager to lend a helping hand and share his expertise. With his dedication to craftsmanship and a commitment to enriching the lives of others, Drew eagerly looks forward to furthering his career with Alair as he pursues his builder certifications.

Ben's journey into construction and building began with the timeless joy of Legos, evolving into impactful community projects as an Eagle Scout. Today, he channels this passion into woodworking, turning raw materials into works of art in his spare time. For Ben, building isn't just a job – it's a deeply fulfilling endeavor, transforming abstract ideas into tangible creations that bring joy to those who encounter them.

In his role as a Project Manager, Ben occupies a pivotal position, bridging the gap between vision and reality. With years of hands-on construction experience and an associate's degree in Construction Management, Ben is committed to continuous growth and learning. Through ongoing education and active participation in industry events, he's dedicated to better assisting clients in bringing their dream homes to life.

Ben's mission is to make the homebuilding journey not only efficient but also enjoyable for his clients. He takes pride in guiding them through every step of the process, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience from start to finish. Beyond work, Ben treasures moments spent with friends and family, indulging his passion for Formula 1, and going on leisurely walks with his loyal companion, Jax. In every aspect of his life, Ben seamlessly intertwines his love for building with a commitment to fostering lasting and meaningful connections.

With over 20 years of experience in architecture and design, Allison understands the intricacies of transforming a homeowner’s vision into a reality. She believes that the foundation of every great project lies in clear intention, open communication, creative inspiration, and skillful execution — principles that she applies in every step of the construction process.

Her extensive design experience gives her a unique perspective on building custom homes, where attention to detail and a deep understanding of how spaces function is paramount. Allison’s commitment to efficiency, combined with her ability to foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors, allows her to manage projects smoothly while maintaining high standards of quality. She believes that thoughtful design and construction are inseparable, and that each phase of a project is an opportunity to ensure the home is a perfect reflection of the client’s vision.

Allison holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Houston, and became a Registered Interior Designer (RID) in Texas in 2015. She is an active member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA). She has won numerous design awards, and her work has been featured in leading publications such as Paper City Magazine, Modern Luxury Interiors Texas, River Oaks Lifestyle Magazine, and Memorial Lifestyle Magazine. One of her custom home designs was also selected for the 2022 AIA Houston Home Tour.

Outside of the office, Allison enjoys giving back to her community, serving as a worship leader at her church, and participating in local and international missions with her husband, Brent, and two sons. Together, they enjoy traveling the world and making a positive impact wherever they go.

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Jamal has had a passion for homes since childhood, often exploring new neighborhoods and admiring their architecture. His enthusiasm for homebuilding led him to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Construction Science from Prairie View A&M University.

Since entering the industry in 2018, Jamal has gained seven years of experience in residential construction, honing his expertise in project management and homebuilding. He is committed to delivering high-quality custom homes and takes pride in guiding clients through the building process with clarity and precision.

Beyond his work, Jamal values family time, his faith, and continuous learning. He enjoys reading, attending church, and staying active by playing and watching sports. His dedication to craftsmanship and client satisfaction makes him an integral part of the Alair Homes team.
