Taking out a wall is a great way to create the illusion of more space and is a popular way to get that open concept feel many of our clients are after. Downside… it’s not always doable, at least not on a reasonable budget. Cost culprits include structural and engineering requirements (especially if you have to shore things up from the basement), and plumbing, electrical, or ventilation systems which can be pricey to relocate.
